Student Bar Association
The Student Bar Association (SBA) is the governing body for the Pitt Law student body and acts as a liaison between the administration and students. The SBA is controlled by the SBA President, elected by the student body, and the Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
Our mission is to increase student involvement in the law school's operation, protect student rights, promote student standards of professional responsibility, and contribute to the Pitt Law community.
Student Organizations and Affinity Groups
In addition to the SBA, these organizations provide students with the opportunity to gain practical experience through professional development opportunities and to learn more about a specific area of legal interest.
