The IT department at Pitt Law provides support to students, faculty, and staff for general computing issues, including accounts, wireless connectivity, printing, malware, and software downloads. Additionally, we offer assistance with law school-specific services and applications such as Exam software, Sharepoint, Canvas, and TWEN.
Hardware upgrades or replacements for personally owned computers and other devices are not within the scope of our services, and we cannot liaise with hardware vendors regarding warranty issues on your behalf. Students must ensure their data is securely backed up before seeking technical assistance from Law IT. While we will endeavor to aid students in backing up class-related data, we cannot be held responsible for any lost or omitted data.
