Application Process
Endowments are established through generous donations from various sources, such as alumni, law offices, attorneys, and professors. These funds are available to all students who complete the application process described below. It is important to note that endowments are not automatically renewed each year. To be considered for funding each year, follow the application process outlined below.
Prospective First-Year Students
First-year students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form to be considered for an endowment. The FAFSA can be completed here using your U.S. Dept. of Education PIN and the University's school code (008815). Students awarded an endowment will be notified by April 1.
All Continuing Students
Students must submit the FASFA and the application in PittFund$Me with their resume and essay attached by April 1st. The FAFSA can be completed here using your U.S. Department of Education PIN and the University's school code (008815). The application in PittFund$Me can be found in your my.pitt.edu portal. Continuing students awarded any endowment will be notified by June.
