Adam J. Tragone currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Legal Writing. He focuses his scholarship on the First Amendment, particularly the freedom of the press and its interplay with modern media. He recently served as an adjunct professor of law at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University, teaching Legal Research and Writing and Civil Litigation. In recognition of his contributions, he received the Adjunct Professor Award from Duquesne's Student Bar Association in the fall of 2022.
Tragone earned his BA from Juniata College in 2009 and his JD from Duquesne Law in 2016. With a wealth of experience, he has litigated First Amendment issues nationally, both in private practice and on behalf of non-profit organizations. He holds admissions to practice in the Supreme Court of the United States, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and numerous federal courts across the country.
