University of Pittsburgh School of Law Dean Jerry Dickinson has announced the formation of his Dean’s Leadership Team, a dedicated group of administrative faculty and staff who will serve as trusted advisors and strategic partners in advancing the Law School’s mission.
This newly assembled team brings together some of the Law School’s most experienced leaders, blending deep institutional knowledge of Pitt Law with broad expertise in legal and higher education nationally and globally. Collectively, they hold a range of advanced degrees—including JDs, PhDs, EdDs, and more—demonstrating an extraordinary breadth and depth of academic and administrative knowledge that will be vital to shaping the future of Pitt Law.
“This is a team of exceptional leaders—innovative thinkers and experienced professionals—who know this institution intimately and care deeply about its future,” said Dean Dickinson. “They bring a strong commitment to Pitt Law and a wide range of experience in higher education that will help guide us through complex challenges and bold opportunities. Their collective wisdom and insight will help shape strategic decisions that elevate our standing and impact.”
The Dean’s Leadership Team includes:
- Professor and Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development Greer Donley, a leading national scholar in reproductive justice, will help drive Pitt Law’s research agenda, faculty recruitment efforts, and academic reputation.
- Professor and Vice Dean John Linarelli's domestic and international administrative experience includes prior service as Dean and Associate Dean at multiple law schools. He will oversee curriculum, academic affairs, and faculty development.
- Professor and Associate Dean for Equity and Inclusive Excellence Ann Sinsheimer is a longtime faculty member and Pitt Law alum with nearly thirty years of experience. Her work in legal writing, faculty governance, diversity, and inclusion have shaped Pitt Law's culture.
- Allie Linsenmeyer, Dean of Students, has nearly 20 years of service spanning admissions, academic advising, student wellness, and student life. Her work has helped define the supportive community that distinguishes Pitt Law.
