Students will engage in a series of challenging writing projects, focusing primarily on issues arising in the area of commercial law. Assignments will include the drafting of commercial documents, with supporting memoranda to explain and discuss the students’ work product. Some student work product will be based on negotiation or mediation exercises held within the class. Some assignments will be drawn from materials used on the bar examination. Students will complete approximately one assignment per week, and will receive extensive feedback from the instructor regarding each assignment.
