Vivian Curran's Presentations at Stanford, UC Davis, and Pitt Law
Professor Vivian Curran has presented her views at Stanford Law School, the University of California at Davis School of Law, and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in the last three weeks. On March 6, Professor Curran spoke on the Alien Tort Statute and corporate liability at Stanford University's Center on Democracy, Development, and the Rule of Law. March 5 found Professor Curran presenting her thoughts on the same subject for a faculty workshop at the University of California at Davis School of Law. On February 28, Professor Curran spoke as part of a panel with Professor Jules Lobel and Attorney Dan Kovalik on the subject of “Corporations and Human Rights Violations” at Pitt Law. The event was by Pitt Law student groups affiliated with the National Lawyers Guild and the American Constitution Society, and by the Center for International Legal Education.
