Ronald Brand on Implementing the Hague Convention on Choice of Court Agreements

On March 3, 2010, Professor Ronald Brand participated at the offices of the American Society of International Law, in Washington, D.C., in a discussion led by Harold Koh, Legal Adviser, U.S. Department of State, on the implementation process for the 2005 Hague Convention on Choice of Court Agreements. The focus of the discussion was on how to bridge the differences between those favoring implementation through a uniform state law and those favoring implementation solely through federal implementing legislation.
