Academic Support

Pitt Law offers a variety of academic support services to enhance your educational experience.

Dean of Students

Pitt Law’s Dean of Students office provides personalized and supportive counseling, mentorship, and advising to help our students navigate the changing challenges of law school as well as their personal and professional life. We partner with offices within the greater university to support student success. We collaborate with the University’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion, which includes the Office of Disability Resources and Services (DRS) to coordinate accommodations for students with disabilities. We support our student organizations and collaborate with the Student Bar Association (SBA) to ensure open communication regarding the concerns and interest of our students. We believe wellness and balance are an integral part of enjoying and succeeding in law school. Our wellness programming encompasses a broad spectrum of wellness elements as all dimensions are intertwined and vital to a well-rounded law student and practitioner.  From Orientation through Commencement our office is committed to enhancing the student experience.
