Leigh Coogan teaches Legal Analysis & Writing to first year students. Before joining Pitt Law as a Visiting Professor, Professor Coogan was an associate at K&L Gates LLP. As an associate, she gained litigation experience resolving domestic and international construction disputes and defending financial institutions from federal criminal and civil investigations. Professor Coogan also practiced healthcare law counseling clients on professional practices, drafting bylaws and participating in hospital mergers. Additionally, she participated extensively in several pro bono efforts including working with KidsVoice to expunge juvenile criminal records and advising clients on "revenge porn" laws and copyright assignment requests.
