Attorney Jason Matzus has been the president of the Western Pennsylvania Trial Lawyers Association, which covers 26 counties in Western Pennsylvania. Attorney Matzus is an elected officer of the Executive Committee and Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the largest professional organization for trial lawyers in Pennsylvania with approximately 3,000 members. Additionally, he is an invited member of the prestigious Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, both of which are designations reserved for the top attorneys in their field. Attorney Matzus is also an Adjunct Professor of Law at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law.

Attorney Jason Matzus has significant experience in handling all types of personal injury claims, including those resulting from automobile accidents, truck accidents, medical mistakes, airplane accidents, construction site and industrial accidents, premises liability, and defective products. He is one of the most sought-after speakers in Pennsylvania on the topics of personal injury law, insurance law, trial presentation techniques, and trial strategy and tactics. Over the years, Attorney Matzus has taught thousands of attorneys throughout Pennsylvania in legal seminars. He has also written numerous articles that have been published in a variety of legal publications and is frequently asked by the leading lawyer educational companies to write materials for continuing legal education seminars.

Attorney Matzus believes in giving back to his community. One of the most rewarding moments of his life occurred when he became the founding chairperson of an annual charity race benefiting the Pittsburgh Steelwheelers, a group of local wheelchair athletes that compete in competitive sporting events. Overall, Mr. Matzus has helped raised approximately $200,000 for this organization.
