Jaclyn Belczyk is the Research Director for JURIST, the award-winning web-based legal news and real-time legal research service housed at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. Jaclyn oversees Paper Chase, JURIST’s legal news service, and is responsible for all aspects of assigning, editing, and publishing content on a daily basis. She also supervises a staff of more than 40 law student volunteers, managing recruitment, training, and event planning. Jaclyn holds a JD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she also earned a graduate certificate in Latin American studies. She earned her BA in Anthropology and Philosophy from the University of Pittsburgh. She is actively involved with the Allegheny County Bar Association and regularly volunteers to represent victims of domestic violence in protection from abuse hearings.
