Jon R. Perry

Mr. Perry is a shareholder in the Pittsburgh law firm of Rosen Louik & Perry, P.C. He received his B.A. summa cum laude and was Valedictorian of the 1987 graduating class of Pennsylvania State University, where he was tapped a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his J.D. in 1991 magna cum laude from Duquesne University School of Law where he was an executive editor of the Law Review. Mr. Perry is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Association for Justice, the American Association for Justice, and the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and its Board of Governors. He is a well-known and respected lecturer in the areas of personal injury, medical malpractice and civil procedure and is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he teaches trial tactics. Mr. Perry has been named in numerous editions of Best Lawyers in America, Marquis Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Law, and Who's Who in the World. In 2005 through 2009 he was named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer, an honor awarded to the top 5 per cent of the attorneys in Pennsylvania. In 2008 and 2009, he was named one of Pittsburgh's Top 50 Lawyers. In 2008, he was honored with The Duquesne University School of Law's Outstanding Achievement Award. Mr. Perry maintains an active litigation practice and has been recognized for numerous multi-million dollar verdicts. He is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum. Mr. Perry is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Third, Sixth, Seventh and Federal Circuits. Mr. Perry is very active in community fundraising for individuals in need with a special emphasis on children. Along with his wife, Joni, Mr. Perry founded the Pennies from Heaven Keeping Families Together Fund, a charity designed to help ease the financial burden placed upon parents with children who require prolonged hospital stays so that parents may stay at their child's bedside. To date, more than 6000 families have been helped with gifts that total almost $500,000. Since its inception in 2001, Pennies From Heaven has raised nearly $1,000,000.
