Pitt Law Professor Kevin Ashley Awarded Pitt Momentum Funds Teaming Grants for 2021

The University of Pittsburgh School of Law is pleased to announce that Professor Kevin Ashley has been awarded one of eight Pitt Momentum Funds Teaming Grants for 2021.  He is leading the project, Center for Text Analytic Methods in Legal Studies, in collaboration with James Anderson, Diane Litman, Daqing He, and Rebecca Hwa.

The Pitt Momentum Funds were created to enhance and streamline internal funding opportunities for faculty research while continuing to support high-quality research, scholarship and creative endeavors. The Funds are structured into a tiered set of awards designed to provide allocations for research seeding, teaming and scaling grants.

The Teaming Grants support the early-stage planning and capacity building of large multidisciplinary projects
