Pitt Law Students Contribute Research For Amicus Brief Challenging Attorney General

The Catholic Legal Immigration Network Inc. (CLINIC) received research assistance from students in the Immigration Law Clinic at Pitt Law in filing an amicus brief. CLINIC, along with nine other faith-based groups, filed an amicus brief April 27 in response to Attorney General Jeff Sessions decision to certify to himself the Matter of A-B. The case involves a Salvadoran woman who fled her country because of domestic abuse and was granted asylum in the United States by the Board of Immigration Appeals.
