Philadelphia Gay News Highlights Pitt Law Student Founder of PA Youth Congress
Philadelphia Gay News highlighted the work of Pitt Law student Jason Landau Goodman, who founded the Pennsylvania Youth Congress, an advocacy organization for Pennsylvania's young LGBT community. Six years ago Landau Goodman travelled to his first National LGBTQ conference, Creating Change. This conference inspired him to take initiative and helped found the PA Youth Congress.
Landau Goodman told Philadelphia Gay News, "...a lot of young people are expected to just be the folks that stuff envelopes and staff events. That’s all that many young people think they can do. I learned at Creating Change that you have to challenge that premise completely."
