Jonny Gammage Scholarship Applications Due April 15

The Jonny Gammage Memorial Scholarship Fund, in honor of the life of Jonny Gammage, a black man murdered at the hands of police officers, is accepting applications. The scholarship is awarded to law students of color with an interest in studying civil rights and social justice issues at the University of Pittsburgh Law School or Duquesne University Law School.

This year’s essay question can be answered here. Qualified candidates are required to submit a resume and essay application. All entries must be submitted by April 15, 2018 by midnight.

The scholarship is sponsored by the Pittsburgh Summit Against Racism and aims to encourage a path of lawyering for social justice.
