Barco Law Building Construction Updates - 9/6/17

Outlined below are some highlights from our Wednesday, September 6th Barco Law Building Construction Project Team Meeting.

  • Important Note - The Barco Law Building will continue to experience either colder than normal (or warmer than normal) climate control conditions throughout many locations of our building because of issues related the chemical treatment of water used in our heat exchangers which has required the return system of our heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system to be altered until this problem is resolved. It is projected that this condition will likely be in place until ~ September 30th.

  • Demolition of the Barco Law Building’s 2nd Floor will commence once the empty rent-a-crates and items dispatched to surplus have all been removed from the second floor – this is projected to be within the next week.  At that time, a physical barricade will be placed outside of the passenger elevators at the Barco Law Building’s 2nd Floor which will prevent anyone from entering that floor until this renovation phase has been completed in December.

The next scheduled meeting will occur on Wednesday, September 20th. As always, if you have questions or concerns regarding the renovation project, please let LuAnn Driscoll or Vincent Johnson know.
