Barco Law Building Construction Updates - 09/20/17
Outlined below are some highlights from our Wednesday, September 20th Barco Law Building Construction Project Team Meeting.
- Important Note - The issues related to the chemical treatment of water used in our heat exchangers for our heating, ventilating and air conditioning (HVAC) system are in the process of being successfully resolved. It is projected that climate control in the Barco Law Building be effectively managed by September 30th. Colder than normal (and warmer than normal) climate control conditions that we have been experiencing throughout the Barco Law Building should be rectified by the end of next week.
- LuAnn Driscoll (Pitt Law’s Office Manager) has officially moved to Barco Law Building Room # 101 (adjacent to the newly constructed conference room on the first floor).
- Demolition of the Barco Law Building’s 2nd Floor has begun. There will be no access to the 2nd floor, the patio and the Posvar Bridge until this renovation phase has been completed in December.
The next scheduled meeting will occur on Wednesday, October 4th. As always, if you have questions or concerns regarding the renovation project, please contact LuAnn Driscoll or Vincent Johnson.
