JURIST 2019 Recruitment
Pitt Law's award-winning legal news service is accepting 1L applications for a limited number of student staff positions. Apart from performing a pro bono public service for readers around the world, JURIST staff members develop numerous skills vital to the practice of law, including research, analysis and writing, working under deadlines in a team environment and developing contacts within the legal profession.
Successful applicants must demonstrate a strong work ethic, responsibility, attention to detail, ability to take criticism and interest in current legal developments. The ability to read a foreign language is a plus. Applicants will undergo a rigorous selection process, including an audition and interview.
