School of Law Chapter of the American Inns of Court

Publish Date/Time:
September 4, 2013

The American Inns of Court is a national organization designed to improve the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar. Members include lawyers, judges, and law students.

The chapter meets once a month on Thursday evenings (usually the third Thursday) during the academic year to hold programs and discussions on matters of ethics, skills and professionalism, and to socialize and "break bread" afterward.  Each member joins a “pupilage” group that plans and delivers one of the presentations.

The Inn’s events are a great opportunity to network with lawyers and judges from the Pittsburgh area.

Deadline is September 6th. Submit your completed application and $25 check made out to “W. Edward Sell Inn of Court” to Professor Bratman in Room 504. Applications available from Professor Bratman’s office, or email him at beb9@pitt.edu.
