Professor John Burkoff was quoted in local media sources three times this week.  His comments on the PA Supreme Court's decision on the state's Voter ID law appeared in the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "[b]ottom line: I think this decision mens that the voter ID law is dead meat, at least for this election."  On the appeal of convicted State Senator Jane Orie, Professor Burkoff told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that there was "nothing new" in Orie's list of issues for appeal.  And he also commented in a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette story about the re-opening of a 1999 sexual assault investigation.
