Final Open Enrollment (add/drop)Period

The final week of add/drop for the fall term is Monday, August 26 — Friday, August 30.  Any changes to registrations made after August 30 will need to be approved by the Dean’s Office.  Second and third-year students received an email regarding the beginning of semester and should read the information regarding the first week of class.

Summer Externship Registration

Students who participated in summer externships are reminded to register for the externship during the final add/drop for the fall term, Monday, August 26 — Friday, August 30. If you do not register for the course, you will not receive credit for the externship on your University transcript and will be charged a fee by the University to add it at a later date.

December Graduation

Students who will graduate in December, 2013 must submit an application for graduation to the Registrar’s Office by 3:00 p.m., Thursday, September 12. Applications submitted after this date will be subject to late fees charged by the University. If you are a certificate student, you must indicate which Certificate Program you are in at the top of the Graduation Form in order to graduate with the certificate. Joint degree students must indicate their joint degree at the top of the form and you must fill out a separate application for each school. You will also be required to download the Graduation Requirements Checklist form from the Registrar’s web page, complete it and submit it with your Application for Graduation. The Graduation Requirements Checklist is available on the Registrar’s web page: Students should review their Degree Progress report in PeopleSoft to assist in completing the Graduation Checklist.  You can locate the information by logging into the Student Portal at Once there, go to Student Services, then to the Student Center, Self-Service and Academic Records.  You can view all the courses you have taken toward graduation and view your current term registration.  This will help to ensure you have met all the requirements for graduation.   Students can submit the documents to the Registrar’s Office beginning Monday, August 26.
