Pitt Law Alum Rich Belsky Rolls Out Popular Bowling App, Rolltech
The Las Vegas Review-Journal recently reported that Pitt Law alum and passionate bowler, Rich Belsky (’05) unveiled a new app for iPhone, Rolltech, fueled in part by 15 investors and around $1 million in startup costs. The app allows bowlers to competitively track other player’s bowling scores in real time allowing for long distance competition. “You can play teams around the globe,” Belsky told the Vegas Review-Journal.
The app, which is free to download, but includes a premium version for $4.99 a month, is aided by a partnership with 10 bowling centers in six states, which Belsky hopes to expand. Belsky graduated with his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 2005 with a Certificate of Advanced Study in Intellectual Property and Technology Law.
