Professor Deborah Brake coauthored a resource guide and model policy (with Mariah Burton Nelson) for the NCAA on intimate relationships between student-athletes and coaches and other athletic department staff.  This NCAA publication, “Staying in Bounds: A Model Policy to Prevent Inappropriate Relationships with Student-Athletes,” was sent out to all NCAA member colleges and universities this week.  Professor Brake led a workshop on the model policy at the NCAA’s annual Equity and Inclusion Forum on Monday, April 30, in New Orleans.  She also led a workshop on retaliation law at the NCAA Forum in New Orleans on Sunday, April 29, 2012.
