Jules Lobel Assesses Voter ID Laws

Professor Jules Lobel explained the constitutional standards for voter ID laws, such as the one that recently passed in Pennsylvania.  Professor Lobel told the Post-Gazette that "[t]he general approach to constitutional law is to balance the interest involved -- here, the people's right to vote -- versus evidence the government presents as to if they have a compelling reason to take the measures they've taken."
