Publish Date/Time:

Professor John Burkoff discussed the effect of the conviction of State Senator Jane Orie on corruption charges on the possibility that her sister, Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justice Joan Orie Melvin, could also be prosecuted.  Professor Burkoff told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, "I don't think there's anything that happened in the Jane Orie case that would lead the DA's office here to believe that they couldn't successfully prosecute...the justice as well."
