Have you applied for or accepted a non-paying summer legal position with a public interest organization? Will you be a student at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law next year?
If you answered yes to both of these questions you may be eligible for a PLISF Summer Scholarship. PLISF raises money throughout the year, mainly at the Annual PLISF Auction, to fund scholarships for students who take non-paying summer legal employment in the public interest sector.
Interested students should add “PLISF” as a TWEN course. The application for a summer scholarship are available on the TWEN site starting Thursday March 7th. Completed applications must be resubmitted to TWEN by 5PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2013. Instructions are included in the application packet on TWEN.
