$6,000 Nordenberg Fellowship for Summer Internships Abroad

Publish Date/Time:
January 22, 2013

The Center for International Legal Education (CILE) will be selecting three students as Nordenberg Fellows for summer 2013. Each fellowship provides a stipend of $6,000 to cover the costs of an overseas summer internship. The fellowships are open to all current 1L and 2L Pitt Law students. In the past, we have been able to arrange a special opportunity for one student at the European Court of Auditors in Luxembourg. This internship requires fluency in French and experience in business and accounting. We also have possibilities for research internships in several locations in Europe.

The Nordenberg Fellows are funded through the Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg University Professorship. Upon their return in the fall of 2013, all Nordenberg Fellows must be available to meet with potential School of Law applicants and to provide talks at colleges and universities in the Pittsburgh region.

DEADLINE: Submit a resume and cover letter indicating your interest to the CILE office (Room 318) no later than noon on Thursday, January 31, 2013.

Please identify the internship in which you plan to engage, including location, provider, and timing details. Please direct questions about the process or about possible internship positions to CILE Assistant Director Cynthia Yializis at cjy16@pitt.edu.
