Learn about participating in the 2017 Allegheny County DHS Case Competition AND about paid DHS Internships & Jobs!

Come learn about this unique opportunity to work together to solve a challenging public sector policy problem, compete for cash prizes, work with other graduate students on an interdisciplinary team, and network with community partners.   

Who participates? Graduate students in the areas of public policy, social work, business, design, public health, law and other related fields.

When is the competition? Wednesday, November 8 – Saturday, November 11

What can students expect? Selected students will be asked to come to the Human Services Building in downtown Pittsburgh on the evening of November 8th. They’ll be presented with a human services problem / issue and meet the students they’ll be working with over the next 48 hours. Students then devote as much time as they need to coming up with a solution. Presentations are due at 7 a.m. on November 11th.
