On Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, the law school will hold 1L legal research training in “How to Research Your Case Brief”.  There are three one-hour trainings scheduled on that day in large rooms that can accommodate most or all 1L students. 1Ls need to attend ONE of these training sessions and can decide individually which one to attend.  All three representatives of the major legal databases (Bloomberg Law, LexisNexis and Westlaw) will present together in these training sessions, 20 minutes each. This will allow students to compare what each database has to offer. The training is mandatory for 1L students and attendance will be taken.

The trainings are:

Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013
12:00 – 1:00 p.m. in the Moot Court Room
3:00 – 4:00 p.m. in the Moot Court Room
4:15 – 5:15 p.m. in Room 111

If a student has questions or has a problem attending please contact Susanna Leers, eResearch & Technology Services librarian, leers@pitt.edu
