Dean Carter to Deliver Public Lecture on Affirmative Action

Pitt Law Dean and Professor William Carter will deliver a free public lecture titled “The Future of Affirmative Action.” The first of Pitt’s Center on Race and Social Problems (CRSP) Reed Smith Spring 2013 Speaker Series, the talk will take place at noon Jan. 30 at the School of Social Work Conference Center, 20th floor, Cathedral of Learning, 4200 Fifth Ave., Oakland. This annual series provides an opportunity for faculty, staff, students, and members of the community to engage in race-related discussions of mutual interest.
