International Applicants

The University of Pittsburgh has three degrees available to international applicants:

JD – In the U.S. the Juris Doctor is the entry-level degree required to become a lawyer.

LL.M. – Foreign applicants with a law degree may apply for our one-year Master’s Degree program.

S.J.D. – Foreign applicants who have received an LL.M. degree from a U.S. credited institution may apply for this intensive research degree.
