Description

This course provides an introduction to the law of antitrust. The course examines practices by which firms allegedly eliminate competition among themselves (e.g., cartels, conspiracies, horizontal mergers), as well as exclude actual or potential competition from their markets (e.g., boycotts, price discrimination, tying arrangements, vertical integration). No exposure to corporate/securities law, economics, or finance is necessary or presumed.
