Jake Frazier: Jake Frazier (JD '25) received a B.A. in Astronomy from American Public University. Although they are enthusiastic about physics and astronomy, they decided to attend law school with the intention of working in the field of public interest. Jake is the treasurer of the American Constitution Society and on the student advisory council for the Incarcerated Persons Legal Support Project. They were a volunteer for the January 2023 Pro Bono Intersession Project, where they were able to serve low-income clients with supervision from Neighborhood Legal Services attorneys. Jake also interned at the Allegheny County Public Defender's Office in New Castle, PA. They are a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, and a legal observer in the National Lawyers Guild. Jake enjoys amateur wildlife photography, hiking, and going to concerts.
Dexter Honora, Jr.: Dexter Honora, Jr. (JD '25) attended the University of Virginia where he received his B.A. in Cognitive Science, Concentration, and Cognitive Psychology. After graduation, he lived in Beijing, where he provided one-on-one English language instruction to Chinese children. His is the president of the Black Law Students Association, where he has led initiatives to improve student life and engage with the Pittsburgh community. He is also a co-founder and recruiting officer for the Black Asian Latinx Legal Alliance. Dexter is committed to community outreach and public interest support as evidenced by his role in the coordination of the Derrick A. Bell Community Legal Clinic and his volunteer work with the Black Urban Gardeners and Farmers of Pittsburgh Co-op. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, swimming, cooking, and watching foreign films.
Alexa Orbin: Alexa Orbin (JD '25) graduated from Duquesne University with a B.S. in Secondary Education and a B.A. in English. In addition to her studies, she currently works part-time as a legal intern at Osterhout Berger Disability Law, works as a teaching assistant in Professor Jessie Allen's 1L Property class, is a Pitt Law Ambassador, and a 1L mentor and member of the Pitt Law Women's Association. Outside of school, Alexa serves the Pitt community as a volunteer with the Allegheny County Bar Foundation's Pardons Project, where she helps people with their applications for clemency and assists with drafting their personal statements which describes why they are seeking a pardon. Following graduation, she plans to pursue a career in family law in Allegheny County.
